AASHTO’s New Uniform Audit and Accounting Guide affects every A/E firm with DOT clients and will change how you do business… increasing the reliance on and importance of a CPA overhead audit for all A/E firms with State DOT clients. Next in ACEC’s timely series on the AASHTO Guide is New Guidance for Successful Overhead Audits, to be presented Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1:30-3 p.m. This one-time-only seminar will focus on what you need to know to have a successful overhead audit.

Wayne Owens, CPA, Deemer Dana & Froehle, LLP, and a member of the AASHTO/AICPA Audit Guide Taskforce, this seminar will cover topics such as increased reliance on CPA Audits, new requirements for determining CPA firm qualification, new risk analysis for A/E firms, overview of the new CPA Workpaper Review Program, Overhead Audit testing requirements, compliance with AICPA’s professional standards, and new standardized Internal Control Questionnaire.
