Daniel is a CPA specializing in partnership and S-Corporation taxation and real estate development and investment. Prior to joining Deemer Dana & Froehle, Daniel served as tax manager at JH Cohn, LLP in New York, where he provided year-round tax planning and guidance for high net worth individuals, advised on trust and estate matters, and represented clients in federal, state and local audits. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche, LLP as an assurance & advisory services senior in Baltimore.
Daniel has been published in various tax and real estate journals such as The Tax Advisor, The Journal of Property Management, and Commercial Investment Real Estate. He has also testified as an expert witness on estate tax matters and has developed and presented a Continuing Legal Education course on the tax aspects of litigation. In March 2012, he was named as one of Savannah’s GenerationNEXT recipients in Savannah Magazine and Business in Savannah. GenerationNEXT highlights Savannah’s under-40 rising stars of business.
Daniel enjoys developing relationships with clients in order to understand their business intimately and provide them with the best tax advice possible.
